Dungeon Records Rules

Postby Administrator » Thu Sep 13, 2012 10:29 pm

Here are some general guidelines to how records have been recorded and shared in the past, edited to reflect Guild Wars 2 mechanics.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Post your screenshots in a new thread to share records with the community! :)

Note: If it is a guild record, please include your guild tag and website if you have one.

Rules:

1.) For a record to be valid, the time must be faster than or equal to the current record displayed. Time is determined by the in-game /age command, which must be displayed in your screen shots. Take a /age screenshot at the start of the dungeon, and then take a /age screenshot at the end when you're prompted to accept your completion rewards. The record time will be amount of time your account age has grown by.

2.) The dungeon must be fully completed. i.e.: The end chest must be spawned and/or the corresponding success confirmation message/rewards prompt must be displayed.

3.) The party list must always be fully displayed in at least one of your record screenshots, and if the party is larger than 1 player, multiple screens must be posted. Posting a video is a plus.

4.) The record system is founded on trust. Please do not attempt to fake screenshots, i.e.: Using photoshop to edit them, using DC tricks to manipulate the in-game timer and/or party list, etc. All we have is screenshots and no real way to verify your accomplishments. Because of this, some people may, and will fake screenshots. If a record screenshot appears to be fake, feel free to follow up with your own posts debating its legitimacy.

5.) Have fun, and good luck! :D
